The noise problem
The 11-day Arundel Festival provides a huge boost to the economy of the historic market town in south-eastern England. But with 40,000 people attending hundreds of art, music and sporting events, the organizers were receiving a growing number of noise complaints.
Our solution
The organizers decided to trial our temporary noise control barriers in 2013. Panels were erected at key infrastructure sites around the town. We also set up acoustic barriers between stages to prevent sound transfer.
The results
The organizers received tremendous praise for their success in effectively reducing noise pollution for the local community. Festivalgoers told the organizers that the sound quality helped make the 2013 Festival the best yet.
